Beeswax Candles

Beeswax candles are lovingly made by local Geelong artist Jessica of Studio Éter. 

As part of the studio’s practice, they also tend to a small apiary.

Their beekeeping practice is bee-centric, meaning the wellbeing of their bees is prioritised over beeswax and/or honey.

As such, they source beeswax from their hives when appropriate, allowing the bees to reuse the wax they have created for as long as possible and supplement the rest of their beeswax needs with beeswax from other local beekeepers in our community who follow the same principles.
